The Society of Professional Journalists named the UWM Post the First Prize winner of the Region 6 All-Around Non Daily Student Newspaper for 2012.
The Post also won First Place in the Genearl News Reporting category, for News Editor Caitlin PenzeyMoog’s story “Twenty-six student arrests in MPD’s second East-side crackdown.”
The Post and the news story are now in the running for the National SPJ student journalism competition.
