Last week Thursday, April 13, at 8:00 pm, Make a Wish Wisconsin Wishmakers at UWM hosted a Trivia Night in the Union Gasthaus to raise funding for their Wish Kid, Meaghan, to go on her Wish Trip. Meaghan is a thirteen year old living with a congenital heart condition and wishes to go to Ireland. Eleven teams participated in six rounds of trivia of ten questions each. The rounds were Trivial Pursuit style and included categories such as “History: Presidential Fun Facts,” “Sports,” and “Entertainment: Netflix Binge-Watching.” After six rounds of trivia, the top two teams won prizes. Twisty the Clown took first with forty-three points and won Buffalo Wild Wings sauces and coupons, Amazon gift cards, and Oakland Gyros gift cards. Habitat for Humanity took second with forty points and won Carini’s sauces, Amazon gift cards, and Oakland Gyros gift cards. Overall, the event raised $300 to go toward Meaghan’s Wish Trip to Ireland
