One month of the 2016-2017 school year has been completed, Panthers – it’s time to celebrate with Homecoming! Homecoming 2016 kicks off tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 4., and throughout the week, UWM clubs and organizations will be hosting events to welcome you and your family and friends to campus.
Everyone can take part in a Photo Challenge, watch a movie outdoors, play laser tag and much more throughout the week. There will be prizes and awards for various activities.
Homecoming will conclude with Panther Prowl 5k, a run to benefit student scholarships. Registration for Panther Prowl 5k is open to individuals or a team. Considering that it will also be Family Weekend, the Panther Prowl race is an opportunity to bring Panther friends and family along Hartford Avenue for a great time.
The UWM Alumni Association, Campus Activities Board and others have collaborated to make Homecoming a unique experience. This year’s Homecoming marks the celebration of 60 years of UWM, and Homecoming 2016 will be a great way for students, faculty, and staff to learn more about the school while having fun.
