The National Guard is letting people rock climb for free until 2 p.m. in Spaight’s Plaza today. UW-Milwaukee’s Department of Criminal Justice, and Army ROTC student org are also selling brats, chips, etc. at a table next to the rock climbing wall.
Army ROTC member Tyler Litts says the brat sale is a fundraiser for org trips. Last weekend, six members of UWM’s Army ROTC went to Washington D.C. to participate in the Army Ten-Miler. In the spring, several members will go to New Mexico for a marathon, called the Bataan Death March, in which runners will complete the race carrying 35-pound backpacks.
