UW-Milwaukee’ annual campus-wide food drive is going on through the end of this week. All donations collected by the end of December 5th will be going the Hunger Task Force.

There are 60 donation boxes in total around UWM’s campus including the residence halls, in Bolton, Curtin and Holton Halls.

Last year UWM collected over $2,000 and over 5,000 pounds of food for the Hunger Task Force.

It is asked students donate non-perishable food items. The collection continues throughout this week, in time for “Giving Tuesday”, which is a holiday set aside to give back to loved ones and the community.

Money donations to the Hunger Task Force can be made at the CCBLLR, located at Union G28, monetary donations can be taken to the UW Credit Union located at the Union.

Alternate locations can be found on UWM’s website which includes a of list of buildings where donation boxes are located. Each box is supervised by a UWM employee or department.
