Marking their fourth year of partnership, the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee and BloodCenter of Wisconsin will host a blood drive on Tuesday, February 4 in the university’s Union at 220 E. Kenwood from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Students can walk-in for appointments or schedule an appointment in advance at www.web.bcw.edu.

-BloodCenter of Wisconsin recommends these guidelines for donating:

-Ensure a good night’s sleep the night before donation

-Eat a healthy meal at least one hour before

-Be well hydrated

-Bring verification of ID to an appointment — a driver’s license, BloodCenter Donor ID card or government-issued ID card – showing name and birth date

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and BloodCenter of Wisconsin joined forces in 2010 in an effort to help build blood donations, organ, tissue and marrow registrants and enhance partnership opportunities and grow the existing academic and non-academic programming.
