The Milwaukee men’s basketball team has a new signee, as Head Coach LaVall Jordan recently announced that Dylan Alderson has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Panthers.

Alderson is set to begin his senior season at Clarkston High School in Clarkston, Mich. He is a 6-foot-5 guard that has a talented skill set on the floor that is headlined by a sharp athleticism and a strong overall knowledge of the game.

“We are thrilled to announce that Dylan and his family have officially signed to be Panthers,” Jordan said. “Dylan is a high-character young man from a great family. He will certainly have a positive impact in our locker room. Dylan brings toughness, athleticism and a versatile skill set to the court and has a high ceiling and work ethic to match. We look forward to helping him grow as a player and person during his time at Milwaukee.”

As a junior last season, Alderson averaged 16.1 points and 7.3 rebounds per game, which was worthy enough of him receiving Honorable Mention AP All-State honors. His performance helped Clarkston capture the league and district titles. The Detroit Free Press ranked him No. 26 on their top 100 player list.

In regards to academics, Alderson will become a student in the university’s College of Health Sciences.
