The Horizon League office recently announced its postseason awards and several freshman members of the Milwaukee volleyball team have earned multiple honors.

Bridget Wallenberger, Jenn Dore and Kylie Wilks were all heralded with a variety of awards that were voted by coaches from the league.

Wallenberger shared the Co-Horizon League Freshman of the year. A first-year player out of Carpentersville, Ill. proved to be a mighty impact for the Panthers this year. She started all 27 matches and her stats proved it, as she led the team in kills (289), blocks (110) and aces (23). She also hit an impressive .258 on the season. In addition to being named to the all-freshman team, Wallenberger was also named to the all-league squad.

Jenn Dore also earned a place on the all-freshman team. As Milwaukee’s setter, she racked up an 11.34 assists/set in league play, which tallied as the second-most across the Horizon League this year.

Her 1,098 assists thus far stack as the third-most in program history for any freshman.

Finally, Kylie Wilks collected an all-freshman honor after her impressive first year as a Panther. Her 262 kills, 248 digs and 18 aces all ranked second on the team in their respected categories. Wilks also started all but one match on the year.
