Today: The low-pressure system bringing us rain the last few days will finally start to leave the region, but not before the chance of a stray rain shower early and cloudy conditions continuing. Windy conditions are expected, ranging from 20-25 mph, gusting up to 30 mph at times. Temperatures will be much more mild with a morning low in the lower 50s, warming into the upper 50s, maybe even reaching 60 by the afternoon.

Tonight: Cooler air will penetrate the region, bringing temps dropping into the mid 40s. Winds will start calming, but a mostly cloudy sky will remain in place.

Tomorrow: A region of high pressure will pass north of WI, keeping us cooler for most of the day while the skies remain partly cloudy. Winds will remain calm coming out of the north early, transitioning off the lake late. Temperatures early will remain cool in the upper 40s, warming into the lower 50s by the afternoon until a lake breeze cools the metro down back into the lower 40s.

Extended Forecast

Monday: Monday will continue the cooler trend with winds coming off the lake all day. This will help keep the temps cooler where we will see a morning low in the lower 40s and warming into the lower 50s by the afternoon. Clouds will remain in place with the chance of some isolated rain showers in the morning and early afternoon with the progression of a new system passing south of WI.

Tuesday: The system will continue to stay south of WI, but it will bring some breezier conditions and rain showers throughout the day. Temperatures will remain in the 40s all day with winds blowing in from the lake.

Wednesday: Temperatures will start off in the low 40s, warming into the mid 50s by midday, though cooler along the lake. Winds could pick up a bit 10-15 mph as the system leaves our area, but skies will clear allowing for sunshine once again!
