Overview: Milwaukee’s 5-Day Weather Forecast April 21, 2026, rests in temperate weather despite some rain here and there.

Today: We wake up to rising temperatures and light winds of 7 mph from the southwest. Clouds gather quickly though in the northwest, and moving south, rains pass through from noon until 1 p.m. Winds get up to 10 mph with gusts of 24 mph. While the clouds break away in the evening, temperatures hit the low 70s. As sun turns the city a golden hue, winds calm for tonight and remain there until Wednesday.

Tonight: Without clouds and low northeastern winds, temperatures sharply drop to 43. Though possibly dampening some windows, it shouldn’t dampen the Lyrid meteor shower peaking in the early morning of Wednesday. Looking to the east toward the constellation Lyra with the bright star Vega, this shower has been known to produce occasional “fireballs”, or bright but short-lived meteors.

Tomorrow: Wednesday temperatures lazily increase throughout the day, hitting 62 by 3 p.m. Holding back for most of the day, clouds start making their way across the sky. Winds stay calm for the day, only peaking at 8 mph with gusts of 16 mph. Despite gathering into the night, clouds disperse later, again leaving Milwaukee at 43 degrees.

Extended: Thursday greets warmer temperatures with increased winds. Reaching a high of 72, we constantly feel an 11-mph wind from the south, with possible gusts of 24 mph. Clouds congregate once more over Thursday into Friday. Retaining the day’s heat, the clouds prohibit Thursday’s low from going past 58 before launching back to 70 in the morning of Friday. Overnight though, a potent low-pressure system swings through, harboring rainstorms and 30-mph wind gusts. As the rain stops in the late morning, clouds break and temperatures calm back down through the 50s. Winds also calm to 9 mph and fall into the night. Saturday thankfully sees more fair weather with winds of 8 mph, and temperatures topping out at 62 with a low of 48. Due to a developing high-pressure, few clouds frequent the sky Saturday. Stay tuned to hear how Friday morning plays out, though!
