Overview: Rain is expected over the next 5 days, dropping close to an inch in some areas. Temperatures rise heading into the weekend, with every day over 60 degrees and multiple days over 70 degrees.

Today: Due to a high pressure over Illinois, Thursday skies will be predominantly sunny. Temperatures quickly rise into the mid 60s, along with winds that start off slow before speeding up to 10 mph with 18 mph gusts. 

Tonight: Rain is expected on Thursday night, beginning first around 2 a.m. and continuing into Friday morning. Temperatures fall into the lower 50s, coupled with wind out of the south at 10 mph with 15 mph gusts. 

Tomorrow: Friday morning has a slight chance for scattered showers, ending around 6 a.m. Afterwards, skies change to clear and sunny throughout the day and into Friday night. Temperatures rise into the lower 70s, along with winds out of the south at 8 mph with 15 mph gusts. Rain returns on Friday night, beginning at 3 p.m. continuing into Saturday morning. Temperatures drop into the mid 50s, with winds out of the south at 8 mph. 

Extended: Rain continues on Saturday, with the worst of the precipitation occurring around 3 p.m. Temperatures max out in the upper 70s, with winds out of the south at 5 mph. Rain is expected on Sunday afternoon, dropping around a quarter of an inch in some areas. Temperatures fall into the lower 60s, along with winds off the lake at 14 mph. Widespread rain will continue on Monday, owing to a low pressure system moving through the area. Temperatures rocket into the upper 70s, along with strong winds out of the south at 15 mph.
