Overview: Thunderstorms lead the way to sunny skies and warm weather during the weekend. As the week begins anew, more rain moves into the area with chances for rain on Monday and Tuesday.

Today: Friday morning rain is expected, first beginning around 6 a.m. and continuing intermittently throughout the day. A few rumbles of thunder can also be heard during the morning, but thunderstorms will mostly pick up after 3 p.m. Temperatures rise into the mid 70s, coupled with winds out of the south at 10 mph with 20 mph gusts.

Tonight: Scattered thunderstorms move in on Friday night, continuing during the night and into Saturday morning. Temperatures drop into the low 60s, with winds out of the west at 8 mph with 16 mph gusts.

Tomorrow: Saturday morning rain still remains present, but quickly ceases after 8 a.m. Afterwards, skies switch to clear for the rest of the day with temperatures in the mid 80s. Winds slow down considerably, blowing off the lake at 5 mph with 10 mph gusts. Clouds return on Saturday night and increase as the night goes on. Temperatures fall into the upper 50s, with winds out of the east at 5 mph with 10 mph gusts.

Extended: Sunday sees the return of partly sunny skies, along with cooler temperatures in the low 70s. Winds pick up slightly, blowing off the lake at 10 mph. Monday sees the return of rain, starting around 6 a.m. and continuing throughout the day. Temperatures rise early in the day to a high in the mid 70s before falling off into the mid 60s. Tuesday remains overcast with the occasional shower during the day, with a few breaks in the clouds during the evening. Temperatures rise into the mid 70s, coupled with winds out of the south at 8 mph.
