Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) will detour Route 30 on Saturday, June 27, from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. due to the Downer Classic Bike Race. Route 30 Downer trips will detour from North Avenue to Newberry Boulevard using Maryland Avenue.
The following eastbound Downer trip bus stops will be inactive during the detour:
- Lake & North (stop ID 3647)
- Downer & Bradford (stop ID 3649)
- Downer & Belleview (stop ID 3650)
- Downer & Newberry (stop ID 3652)
MCTS asks Milwaukee riders to board at the following bus stops during the detour:
- Regular stop before the detour – Prospect & North (stop ID 4368)
- Maryland & Farwell (stop ID 4400 Rt 30 via Maryland)
- Maryland & Bradford (stop ID 4423 Rt 30 via Maryland)
- Maryland & Belleview (stop ID 4402 Rt 30 via Maryland)
- Maryland & Park (stop ID 4403 Rt 30 via Maryland)
- Regular stop after the detour – Downer & Locust (stop ID 3653)
The following westbound Downer trip bus stops will be inactive during the detour:
- Downer & Belleview (stop ID 3664)
- Downer & Bradford (stop ID 3665)
- Downer & Lake (stop ID 3666)
- Lake & St Mary’s (stop ID 3667)
- North & Prospect (stop ID 3668)
