Overview: Extreme heat continues to pound Milwaukee until Friday. Over the weekend, rain and cooling temperatures are expected. 

Today: The extreme heat continues for Milwaukee into Wednesday morning with scattered clouds and temperatures reaching in the high-70s. Wind speeds are steady at 13 mph from the southwest with a possible wind gust up to 20 mph. As the day continues, temperatures skyrocket up to 93 with clouds starting to clear out. Wind speeds remain constant at 15 mph out of the southwest. A possible maximum wind gust up to 22 mph is possible.  

Tonight: Wednesday night brings clear skies with warm temperatures in the low-80s; a perfect night to relax outside. Wind speeds slow down to 12 mph with a possible gust up to 20 mph. 

Tomorrow: Thursday morning starts off warm and sunny skies, with temperatures reaching to 79 with calm winds. The afternoon brings Milwaukee a high temperature up to 88 degrees along with a maximum wind gust up to 18 mph. As the sun begins to set, temperatures decrease to 80 degrees with weak thunderstorms being a possibility. 

Friday: Friday for Milwaukee brings, yet again, warm temperatures in the low-80s with wind speeds at 10 mph and gusts up to 20 mph. As the day continues, cloud cover increases, and the temperature increases to a high of 89. Evening storms are possible for the Milwaukee area along with temperatures settling in the low-70s. 

Weekend Outlook: The Fourth of July weekend for Milwaukee isn’t looking too great so far. Saturday temperatures reach a high of 89 and a low of 66 with calm winds, however, overcast skies rule the Milwaukee area for most of the day along with the risk of scattered thunderstorms. Sunday brings similar weather with a high of 75 and a low 65. Calm winds are expected throughout the day. Yet again, partly cloudy skies are expected along with scattered showers.
