Overview: The heat dome continues to be present during the week until Thursday. Clear skies also are prevalent, with every day except Friday experiencing sunny skies.

Today: Due to the present heatwave, Monday temperatures rise into the mid 90s along with sunny skies. Quick winds are expected out of the west, blowing at 10 mph with 15 mph gusts. 

Tonight: Monday night remains clear, with temperatures dropping into the lower 70s. Winds slow down slightly, blowing out of the southwest at 4 mph with 8 mph gusts at times. 

Tomorrow: Temperatures skyrocket into the upper 90s on Tuesday, hitting a heat index close to 100 degrees during the peak of the day. Skies remain clear, with winds out of the west at 4 mph and 10 mph gusts. Tuesday night temperatures fall into the lower 70s, coupled with clear skies and winds at 6 mph with 10 mph gusts.

Extended: Wednesday is a similar story, with high temperatures in the lower 90s and sunny skies throughout the day. Winds speed up, blowing off the lake at 8 mph with 16 mph gusts. The heat finally breaks on Thursday, maxing out in the lower 80s. Winds switch to calm, with only a slight gust out of the east at 4 mph. There’s a slight chance for showers on Friday, mostly after 6 p.m. Temperatures rise into the mid 80s, along with strong winds out of the west at 14 mph.
