Overview: October seems to be in for today, but temperatures reach back into the 70s later on.

Today: An absolutely gorgeous fall day greets the city, with brisk temperatures at 58 degrees and clear skies. A few clouds may begin to accumulate in the afternoon, but high pressure in the atmosphere prevents anything from forming. Temperatures will warm to 62 degrees at the sun’s peak.

Tonight: The calm and clear trend continues into the evening. Temperatures dip into the lower 50s, with calm winds and a few clouds rolling through.

Tomorrow: Tuesday will be very similar, with clear skies and a high of 70 degrees. Overnight, leftover showers from a storm in Northern Wisconsin could drift as far south as Milwaukee, providing some light sprinkles. That said, chances are minimal, and it will be difficult to say for sure until we see exactly where the front sets up on the day of. The overnight low will be 52 degrees.

Extended: Wednesday is also very meteorologically uneventful, with partly sunny skies persisting throughout the day and a high of 71. Enjoy the warm fall temperatures, though, because the overnight low is a chilly 46 degrees. Thursday stays a little cooler with a daily high of 66 degrees and a low of 46 with partly cloudy skies. On Friday, a dissipating band of rain heads over Milwaukee, causing some scattered showers mid-morning. Aside from this, the rest of the day appears to be cloudy and a little chilly, with a high of 66 degrees and a low of 47.
