Overview: After today’s warm weather, high temperatures finally become fall-like as low-pressure systems swing through with cooler weather and our next rounds of rain.
Today: After Monday’s unseasonably warm temperatures, a beautiful fall morning greets Milwaukee with morning temperatures of 67 degrees. Clear skies will follow the morning into the afternoon, bringing our high temperature of 78 degrees.
Tonight: As the evening draws near, the temperature will start to drop bringing our nighttime low to 57 degrees. Winds will be calm and skies will be clear!
Tomorrow: A low-pressure system moves into Illinois on Wednesday, which could bring some residual scattered showers as far north as Milwaukee. If this storm does trend north, the showers will be short-lived and kept to the morning. Temperatures will peak in the afternoon at 65 degrees and fall back to 50 degrees in the evening. Cloudy skies will persist throughout the day.
Extended: Thursday is more of the same, with partly cloudy skies and a high of 61 degrees. The nighttime low declines steeply to 45 degrees, which will cool off Friday. On Friday, the high is 57 with a low of 35. Despite Friday’s beautiful partly cloudy skies, these increase into the second half of the day, bringing precipitation. This is due to a low-pressure system hitting Milwaukee from Thursday into Friday, and the attached cold front sweeping through in the late evening. With a nighttime low of 35 degrees, in isolated places, the rain might be joined by a couple snowflakes. This is unlikely but stay tuned to your forecasts for the latest. Sunny skies return on Saturday with a high of 57 and a low of 39 degrees.
