Overview: Rounds of rain affect the area throughout the week, and temperatures get progressively chillier.
Today: Chilly temperatures affect the early hours, with our morning low of 56 degrees. As a warm front pushes through the area, the late hours of the afternoon will begin to be affected by some rounds of scattered showers. Precipitation will be under a half inch for most of the area, although it will affect the remainder of the day. Despite the rain, our daytime high will be 65 degrees. Wind gusts ramp up over today and tonight, turning into 30 mph by tomorrow morning.
Tonight: The rain will continue into the evening, with showers lessening as the night goes on. The overnight low will be 56 degrees.
Tomorrow: Although last night’s showers lessen with time, they will persist into Tuesday morning. While they will likely affect your commute to work or school, the rain will not have a huge impact on the rest of the afternoon. The winds however could gust up to 35 mph or more over the day, so keep careful when outdoors. The morning low will be 56 degrees, and as the warm air continues to push over Milwaukee our high will be brought up to 72 degrees.
Extended: More rain continues to persist throughout the week. As we get further out in the week, the timing on these models grows less accurate, meaning we have less information as far as what time the rain will hit. Currently, on Wednesday the rain is projected to hit in the early morning. The high for Wednesday will be 64 with a low of 48. Thursday will have scattered showers throughout the day, with a high of 60 and a low of 43. On Friday, the high will be 54 with a low of 40. As the warm front exits the area, it is likely the rain will be contained to the morning on this day. As mentioned before though, do not count on it until we have more information closer to the date. Stay tuned!
