Los Angeles based band LANY is set to perform this Friday, November 4 in Madison at the Majestic Theatre on their first headline tour, Kinda.
The three piece alternative and indie pop band consists of Paul Klein, Les Priest, and Jake Goss. As former school friends, Klein had written songs that needed to be put out. In their earliest days, their first dream-pop song “ILYSB” made waves on Spotify, reaching over 15 million plays thus far. Their newest single “Where The Hell Are My Friends” is at 4 million plays after just a few weeks. With a fast growing fan base, they don’t seem to be slowing down.
Their first headline tour has already sold out venues before they performed their first show. Extra dates and rooms had to be added and extended due to their high demand.
According to their team, they have had “performances at Bonnaroo, Sasquatch and Firefly, as well as 14-dates opening for Oh Wonder already under their belt this summer, the trio will also be performing at Outside Lands and Life is Beautiful later this year.”
For only being around since 2014, the band has been named #1 on Billboard x Twitter’s New Emerging Artist Chart with their song “yea, babe, no way.”
