Electronic and house musician ZHU is performing in Milwaukee at The Rave tomorrow October 10, 2018 as part of his Dune Tour 2018.
Steven Zhu, better known as his stage name ZHU, is an American, Grammy award nominated artist. He was first discovered by Mind of a Genius Records for his anonymous first track “Moves Like Ms Jackson”, a mashup of multiple Outkast songs in 2014. He plays the piano, horns, synthesizer, and does vocals.
His 2014 EP “Faded” climbed global charts in Dance and Electronic music. In 2015, Zhu released an EP “Genesis Series” which included artists like Skirllex, A-Trak, and AlunaGeorge. In 2016, he released his debut album “Generationwhy” with the single “In the Morning.” The record was premiered at Coachella 2016 to much praise, with one journalist referring to him as “the next Daft Punk”. In 2017, Zhu was a featured performer in Ultra Music Festival in Miami. He also released his third EP “Stardustexhalemarrakechdreams” with a lead single titled “Dreams” that was collaborated with Nero. Another single from the EP titled “Chasing Marrakech” was featured in an Apple ad.
Most recently in 2018, Zhu released his second studio “Ringos Desert” with 14 tracks.
Hosted by Stellar Spark Events, ZHU will perform as part of his Dune “phase two” tour tomorrow at the Milwaukee Rave / Eagles Club. Artist Tokimonsta will open for the show. The show is scheduled to start at 8pm. You can purchase tickets HERE.
