A new laundry service called Dapper Laundry will open near the Marquette University campus on October 5, 2026. It will offer drop-off laundry service and delivery-on-demand for a flat rate within five miles of its location.

The co-owner of Dapper Laundry, Coltyn Giltner, wants UWM students and the surrounding community to know that Dapper serves everyone’s laundry needs, whether they’re a Marquette student or not.

Giltner has previously been a guest instructor at the UWM School of Education. He also served as education director at First Stage, a children’s theater in Milwaukee.

“I have loved my time working with the education majors at UWM over the last couple of years, and I want them to have the same ability to take laundry off their plate as everyone else,” Giltner said.

Coltyn and his wife/Dapper Laundry co-owner Kayla Giltner started Dapper after trying to come up with a business that gives people their time back.

Membership pricing rates begin at $25 per week for Dapper Laundry’s “Wash and Dry” service. It will offer student plans and six-month plans. Full pricing and terms are on Dapper’s website.
