BREAKING – The NCAA released a statement this afternoon saying that the men’s and women’s basketball tournaments will be played without fans in attendance due to COVID-19 scares.
“This decision is in the best interest of public health, including that of coaches, administrators, fans and, most importantly, our student athletes,” NCAA President Mark Emmert said.

Attendance at the games will be limited to essential team staff and family members.
Both tournaments are set to begin next week.
