
Overview: A nice weekend over Milwaukee will take place with Saturday being the day for any outdoor plans. conditions shift by Monday as a strong low pressure system will ignite strong to severe thunderstorms Monday afternoon and evening. Tuesday and Wednesday turn calmer with a cold front moving through each morning.
Today: Saturday will be a nice spring day across the Milwaukee area courtesy of a weak high pressure system that will station itself in northwest Wisconsin. Partly sunny skies in the morning will allow temperatures to rise through the mid 40s and low 50s with northeast winds between 10-15mph sustained. By the afternoon mostly sunny skies will show as temperatures reach the mid 50s for a daytime high with winds remaining out the northeast and speeds staying consistent. Heading into the evening, clouds will begin to fill back in over the Milwaukee area.
Overnight: Skies will become overcast as temperatures tumble into the lower 40s. Winds slow down to 2 mph with 5 mph gusts out of the east.
Tomorrow: Saturday’s nice weather won’t last long as conditions begin to change with Sunday acting as a transition day. A weak dome of high pressure sitting over Wisconsin will move out as a strong low pressure system approaches from the southwest by Sunday night. Before this next weather maker arrives, Sunday will feature overcast skies throughout most of the day which boost temperatures into the mid 50s for a daytime high with winds around 10 mph sustained from the east. Overnight Sunday, winds will turn to the southeast and increase slightly between 10-15 mph sustained.

Extended: A warm front moves through Wisconsin on Monday morning leading to overcast skies for the majority of the day. By Monday afternoon, high temperatures will reach the high 50s with gusty southeast winds between 10-15 mph. In the late afternoon, a cold front moves through producing a 90% chance showers and storms. Some of these storms look to be severe which is why the Storm Prediction Center has issued a warning for severe weather for all of southern Wisconsin. Tuesday sees daily high temperatures near 60℉, along with overcast skies and winds at 15 mph. Wednesday shifts to more sun, while speeds on Wednesday day will decrease to 5-10 mph out of the north.
