Overview: Milwaukee’s 5-Day Weather Forecast April 5, 2026, finds a chilly Easter and an active week of weather ahead filled with rain, snow, gusty winds, and a temperature roller coaster.

Today: Easter begins with the coldest temperatures of the day at freezing and wind gusts up to 26 mph. With this wind in the morning, wind chills stay in the 20s until noon, around which time clouds start breaking. Towards the evening, clouds finally exit over the lake and leave Milwaukee rising to 48 for a high. Winds calm later, but shove in some rain.

Tonight: During the night, thunderstorms quickly turn into occasional and moderate rain, accumulating to an eighth inch. Strengthening in the early morning of Monday, wind gusts reach 25 mph before sunrise. Temperatures bottom out at 34 around the same time.

Tomorrow: After temperatures hit a high of 41 at 10 a.m., Monday drizzles pause. At 3 p.m., while gusts pick up to 30 mph, precipitation begins anew as snow. Expect low visibility and possible slippery conditions for the evening commute. Temperatures hit freezing at 6 p.m. and continue to drop throughout the night. Accumulations of snow range greatly across Southeastern Wisconsin, from traces to an inch. Around midnight, snowflakes leave for the southeast.

Extended: Milwaukee finds solace in Tuesday with calmer winds and no precipitation, but temperatures remain chilled. Climbing back from 22 degrees, Tuesday only reaches 36 before falling to 31 in the night. Clouds briefly break in the day allowing any stuck snow to melt off. Overnight however, snow enters in again, this time from the southwest riding on a low-pressure system. Southwestern winds of 15 mph howl into Wednesday and gust up to 40 mph, changing the snow to rain. Thanks to the boost, temperatures launch into the 60s and remain near 50 into Thursday. After short breaks in the rain, another line of rainstorms eye up Milwaukee. Winds remain persistent and allow morning temperatures to hit 54 before swinging another cold front through Wisconsin, sending us back into the 30s. Stay up to date to stay safe!
