Overview: A warm and humid Friday leads to a pleasant Saturday. Saturday night rain chances increase which will lead to a rainy Sunday. More rain chances will last through early next week.
Today: Friday will be another warm and humid day across the Milwaukee area. Mostly sunny skies will allow temperatures to rise through the upper 60s and 70s during the morning hours paired with dewpoints hovering in the upper 60s which will make air feel rather sticky. Winds won’t offer much relief being out of the southwest around 7 mph. Mostly sunny skies continue into the afternoon as high temperatures top out in the low-80s with dewpoints falling back into the mid-60s. Winds will continue from the southwest around 6 mph. Winds calm in the evening as a weak cold front approaches from the northwest. A 10% chance of an isolated sprinkle exists before midnight, but most stay dry.
Overnight: A weak cold front will swing through the area overnight which will shift winds to the west around 8 mph and dewpoints will begin to decrease. Temperatures cool into the upper 60s under partly cloudy skies.
Tomorrow: Saturday will be the best day out of the weekend. The morning will start out with brilliant sunshine as temperatures rise through the low to mid-70s. Winds will be out of the northwest around 8 mph with dewpoints dropping through the low-60s. Sunny skies and northwest winds persist through the afternoon as temperatures reach the low-80s for a high and dewpoints finally cool into the refreshing upper 50s. A low-pressure system with a stationary boundary will approach from the west which will cause clouds to slowly increase by the evening and lead to an overcast and rainy night. Rain chances jump to 40% after 4 a.m. and increase to 80% by Sunday morning. Other conditions Saturday night will feature winds turning back to the southwest, but calming as temperatures cool into the upper 60s.
Sunday: Sunday will be a very rainy and overcast day over the Milwaukee area. A band of showers will be moving through the area in the morning and into the early afternoon thanks to the aforementioned stationary boundary. High temperatures will top out in the low 80s with southwest wind around 7-9 mph under overcast skies. Rain breaks briefly in the evening, however more rain and embedded thunderstorms look likely overnight with rain chances near 100% after 4 a.m. Furthermore, temperatures will cool into the upper 60s for a low with winds decreasing to around 5 mph from the southwest.
Extended: On Monday, the stationary front stays over Central Wisconsin which will cause more bands of showers and embedded thunderstorms to trail through the area until the afternoon. Temperatures will reach the upper 70s with winds turning to the south around 6 mph. Rain chances end by the evening hours, as the stationary front begins to move over the Milwaukee area. Overnight lows will drop into the upper 60s with winds turning to the east around 5 mph under overcast skies.

Tuesday will bring drier conditions to the Milwaukee area as the stationary boundary sags southeastward through the day; however, a 20% chance of an isolated shower will be possible in the morning. All rain chances come to end by the afternoon, leaving skies overcast. Temperatures reach the upper 70s for a high and winds stay out of the east around 5 mph. Overnight, temperatures cool into the mid-60s with a calm south wind. Lastly, a new low-pressure system will give the Milwaukee area more isolated showers and thunderstorms heading into Wednesday morning. Because of all these rain chances the Milwaukee area could pick up 1-2 inches of rain from Saturday night through Wednesday morning. Watch for flooding in low-lying areas.
