Today: The 5-day Weather Forecast for July 13 begins quite decent for Milwaukee at a nice 72 degrees with a light breeze from the west as we wake up Sunday morning. Although clouds remain overhead until sunset without many breaks, the breeze remains nice and steady with stray gusts of 13 mph. Without seeing much of the sun, our high temperature stays relatively close to yesterday, peaking only at 81 degrees around 3 pm.
Tonight: Sunday will end with a hazy sunset and temperatures of 74, getting down to a humid 65 during the night.

Note: Throughout Sunday and Monday, an unhealthy haze will remain prolific in the area as Canadian wildfire smoke blows through. Without much of a boost from the winds, the National Weather Service has issued an Air Quality Alert for the entire state of Wisconsin, as they are expecting Sunday to see a semi-thick haze. It is advised that everyone limits outdoor activities, and for sensitive groups, it is suggested to reschedule or move activities inside. The smoke is then exiting during the day Monday causing the Air Quality Alert for Wisconsin to end at noon.

Credit: AirNow.gov & WI DNR; The primary pollutant (smoke) will cause air quality to decrease Sunday.

Tomorrow: A hazy sunrise starts our Monday in the upper 60s climbing to a high of 86 for the day. This high is distinctly more than Sunday seeing as the sun will be shining for most of the day. Winds will rise in strength as a low-pressure system in the far north influences some things. The breeze should stay around 7 mph, occasionally getting boosted by a gust of wind up to 16 mph. A relatively clear sunset ends the day. Temperature drops to another humid upper-60s before dawn Tuesday.

Tuesday 7/15: Tuesday announces the coming of a cooler low-pressure system later in the week, but not before the temperature hits 82. Clouds grow over the course of the day, becoming quite puffy. Possibly a cloud even leaks a drop or two, but rain chances dissipate going into the night, along with some clouds. Even with a bit more potent winds than Monday, the low temperature will be a warmer 69.

Wednesday & Thursday 7/16-17: The cooler low-pressure system will arrive Wednesday and Thursday along with bunches of clouds. As of right now, models disagree with timing and strength, so the forecast of these two days will contain more possible error than normal. It is predicted Wednesday sees higher 80s before dropping a dramatic 20 degrees to upper 60s. As temperatures fluctuate, so will the wind, averaging 8 mph but with gusts of 21 mph. Wednesday afternoon begins the high probability of rain, less so at night, but resuming Thursday. Rainstorms are expected with this system. Thursday is more unclear than Wednesday, but temperatures should rise into the mid-70s as winds over 10 mph and up to 26 mph cool the city. Models show a chill low 60s for Thursday night. Stay up to date with the forecasts to get better predictions as we head into the week!
