Today, July 27: The first of a couple of hot, humid days descends upon us as weak high pressure moves into the area. Your Sunday starts off with some patchy fog that should clear out as the sun comes up. There is a slight chance of an early shower or thunderstorm, but the chances look slim. Mostly clear skies and calm winds will follow, allowing the temperatures to rise into the mid-to-upper 80s by the afternoon. Dew points will be in the low 70s, leading to uncomfortable conditions and possibly dangerous heat indices. Thanks to the high dew points, the “Feels Like” temperature will feel warmer than the actual air temperature. With a forecasted high of 87°F and a dew point of 71°F, the temperature will feel like it’s in the low-to-mid 90s. As of writing this, Milwaukee is not under any heat-related weather alerts. However, make sure to take the proper precautions to stay safe in the heat. Limit time outside and stay in cool, air-conditioned places. Drink plenty of water and limit strenuous activities.
Tonight: High dew points will stick around as the temperatures will fall into the low 70s. A gentle breeze and clear skies will all but eliminate the chance for some fog.

Tomorrow, July 28: Your Monday looks to be hot and humid yet again. Ample sunshine in the morning and early afternoon will allow temperatures to soar into the upper 80s, and high dew points will make the temperature feel like it’s in the low 90s. There’s a higher chance of a shower or thunderstorm than there was yesterday, with this chance coming in the mid-afternoon as a cold front approaches. The National Weather Service doesn’t have a chance for anything severe as of now, but that could change in the days leading up to Monday, so make sure to stay tuned for any updates! Overnight, the chance of rain goes up a little, but it seems to be only an isolated shower. Temperatures will fall into the low 70s.
Extended Forecast, Tuesday, July 29 – Thursday, July 31: Your Tuesday looks to start off a little wet in some areas as any lingering rain moves out in the morning. Clouds will be around for much of the morning, limiting the amount of heating we’ll see from the sun, with temperatures warming into the low 80s. The humidity finally breaks a little, with dew points falling into the mid-60s by the end of the day. Wednesday looks a little rainy, especially in the morning. The rain chances look to dwindle by the afternoon. Temperatures will warm into the mid-70s, and the dew points finally look to fall below 60 by the afternoon. Thursday looks beautiful; ample sunshine, mild temperatures, and comfortable dew points will make for a great day in the city!
