Overview: Milwaukee’s 5-Day Weather Forecast July 7th, 2026, maintains blue skies until storms dampen the midweek, with blue skies returning for a hot weekend.
Today: Temperatures sprint back into the 70s with the first rays of sunlight. Under full sun, Milwaukee tops out at 84 in the afternoon. Only 5-mph winds off the lake stand in the way of Milwaukee heating up more, with gusts up to 16 mph. Keeping the lakeside cool in the mid-70s, inland reaches the mid- to high-80s. The odd clouds pops up in the evening, but overall, a we witness a picturesque sunset.
Tonight: With the random cloud here and there, Milwaukee sinks back into the mid-60s for the night. Winds ease, but turn to come from the southwest, pumping Southeastern Wisconsin with slightly warmer air.
Tomorrow: Sunshine and southwestern air enhance each other’s heating effects, sending Milwaukee and the area into the 90s. Dewpoints sit near 68 as this occurs, giving the heat index a boost up near 100. On the lake, temperatures enter the 80s, but the lake’s shield proves weak against the 8-mph winds with 24-mph gusts. This seems to indicate a rather nice beach day, just beware of the waves. Due to all of this energy from wind and heat, despite the late arrival of storms, the early night sees some storms. These thunderstorms bring brief heavy rain, gusty winds up to 28 mph, and occasional flashes of lightning. Drizzles remain possible as we drop to our low of 68 early Thursday.
Thursday: Drizzles stick around for a good portion of the day while the temperatures barely break into the 80s. Blowing softer than Wednesday, winds average 6 mph with gusts up to 20 mph. Overcast skies turn a bit darker in the evening with a possible isolated thunderstorm. These storms however do not currently pose a hazard to the area. Over Wednesday and Thursday, Milwaukee receives a quarter inch of rain with northern and western communities receiving a bit more. In the late night, temperatures fall to 64 for a low.
Extended: Friday’s high temperatures return to the 70s before Saturday’s mid-80s. Thankfully cooling at night, we hit lows of 63 and 69, respectively. Winds slow Friday into a mostly calm Saturday, and dewpoints stay below 65. Some clouds linger Friday but disperse for Saturday. Stay tuned for the hotter temperatures later!
