Today: After a morning of dense fog, more severe thunderstorms move through the area on Thursday, first starting around noon and continuing throughout the day. This weather will move quick and will be dangerous, so make sure you have a plan in place in the event of inclement weather. Temperatures rise into the mid 80s, coupled with strong winds out of the south at 15 mph with 25 mph gusts.
Tonight: As the storms move out of the area around 7 p.m. clear skies take over in the evening. Temperatures drop into the upper 50s, along with winds out of the west at 12 mph with 22 mph gusts.
Tomorrow: High pressure moves into the area on Friday, leading to sunny skies and warm temperatures in the upper 70s. Winds speed up slightly, blowing out of the west at 14 mph with 25 mph gusts. Clear skies continue on Friday night, causing temperatures to fall into the the upper 50s. Winds slow down, blowing out of the southwest at 5 mph with 10 mph gusts.
Extended: Saturday starts off sunny, with highs in the lower 80s and moderate winds out of the west at 15 mph. Saturday night sees thunderstorms return to the area around 9 p.m., dropping close to an inch of rain in areas. Sunny skies return on Sunday, driven by a light high pressure system south of Wisconsin. Temperatures drop into the upper 60s, coupled with winds out of the west at 16 mph. Mostly sunny skies are in store on Monday, with the occasional scattered shower around 6 p.m. Temperatures rise into the mid 70s, along with winds out of the west at 4 mph.
