Overview: Milwaukee’s 5-Day Weather Forecast June 8th, 2026, rediscovers severe weather and sweltering heat, then ends with a cooler note.
Today: After some thunder and rain in the early morning, the work week starts off with broken clouds and 67-degree temperatures. The beach may be a bit chilly today with winds off the lake, but the high humidity might make it bearable. Sunshine provides warmth to reach the mid-70s before thunderstorms return in the evening. Beginning rather scattered, the main swath of storms sweeps through from 6-8 p.m. Along with the heavy rains, southeastern winds of 8 mph during the day increase to gusts up to 35 mph, possibly even 40 mph.
Tonight: Even though these storms do not line up well, thunder and heavy rain stick around Milwaukee all night. Temperatures dip into the low-60s with calm winds when without storms.
Tomorrow: Tuesday should turn out quite nice. Currently, weather models show lingering showers until the evening, but these show no major concerns. Sparse sunshine still shoves Milwaukee temperatures into the 80s. Winds increase from the southwest, pumping in moist, hot air from the Gulf and the Plains. Due to this, oppressive humidity rules Milwaukee, keeping us from cooling off beyond the mid-60s in the night. Tuesday night though finds a cool breeze from the north under sparsely clouded skies. Later in the night, stray thunderstorms enter and continue until Wednesday morning.
Wednesday: Southern Wisconsin’s atmosphere looks quite active Wednesday. The more sunshine received, the more intense our storms may be in the afternoon and evening. Unhelpfully, temperatures might break into the 90s by the afternoon. Dewpoints rise along with the temperatures to potentially harmful levels, so remember to drink lots of fluids and take occasional breaks if outside. The wind might help, averaging 12 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. After heating up, a deep low-pressure system pushes into Wisconsin with strong thunderstorms. These harbor hail, gusty winds beyond 40 mph, heavy rain, and potentially more. Stay up to date with your weather, for the severe weather could intensify. Temperatures in the night only fall to 69.
Extended: Thursday repeats Wednesday only with different temperatures. Severe weather arrives in the afternoon after the high of 81. Following strong winds, possible hail, and heavy rain, temperatures cool off to 59. Winds finally calm as well. Despite the occasional cloud, Friday seems pleasant at 76 degrees with winds averaging 6 mph. In the night, temperatures fall to 62. Remember to stay up to date with your forecasts and weather warnings this week!
