Today: We’ll enjoy our last bit of somewhat nicer weather, with temperatures reaching 55 degrees today. Much of the day will feature some glances of the sun as clouds develop over the area. High pressure will continue to effect our area as a low-pressure system slides southeast of Wisconsin throughout the duration of our day. Thanks to that high-pressure system, southeastern Wisconsin looks to stay dry with winds off the lake keeping any rain out of the Milwaukee metro. Winds remain breezy throughout the day, occasionally gusting anywhere from 15-20 mph.
Tonight: Clouds stick around through the evening and night time hours then begin to clear overnight into Wednesday. Winds grow stronger off the lake with gusts reaching 25-30 mph. We’re now at the time of year where we’ll begin thanking the lake for our milder temperatures, where inland areas can expect to be cooler than lakeside due to its warmth. Low temperatures will fall to 45 degrees overnight.

Tomorrow: High pressure lasts another day over Milwaukee, gracing us with mostly sunny skies. Temperatures are expected to reach similar highs as Tuesday’s, peaking around 53 degrees. Stronger winds continue for Wednesday with gusts reaching 15-20 mph at times throughout the day. As the sun falls winds will begin to calm slightly, while winds shift northeast steadily producing sustained winds around 10 mph. Low temperatures fall to 44 overnight.
Extended: On Thursday, high pressure looks to exit the region, making way for a low-pressure system that’s expected to drop in from the north. The daytime hours look to feature mostly sunny skies with high temperatures similar to our early week. Winds will begin to shift from the northwest ahead of the approaching low pressure, as clouds thicken overhead. By Friday we’ll be under the affect of the low pressure system, with mostly cloudy skies expected for the duration of the day. Temperatures look to reach the lower 50s, before experiencing a cooler evening with lows falling to the upper 30s overnight. Our first day of November will feature mostly cloudy skies with highs reaching 47 for the day. Models are fairly inconsistent with rain chances for Saturday, but we can expect this system to bring some precipitation as it affects our area. Saturday night temperatures dip to the upper 30s.
