Today: The 5-Day Weather Forecast October 30, 2025 begins with a foggy commute at a cool 45 degrees. As the fog clears and sets up mostly clear skies by noon, the temperature rises into the 50s. With an average 8-mph southbound wind and gusts of 17 mph, Milwaukee temperatures rise to 54 by 3 p.m. before sharply dropping back into the 40s by nightfall.
Tonight: A stray cloud frequents the sky pushed on by a calmer wind of 5 mph. After the majority of the night has passed and stray clouds linger overhead, the temperature bottoms out at 41. Thanks to a lesser pressure gradient (fancy way to say an area contains similar pressures), winds ease slightly into the weekend. Before this happens though, a pesky wind from the northeast meets the Milwaukee area. Northeast winds blow faster in Milwaukee than other directions due to less objects, like trees and buildings, hindering its path. Because our wind changes to this late tonight, winds pick up again, overcoming the ease in pressure gradient.
Tomorrow: Halloween commences with an ominous grey sky and winds whistling at Thursday’s speeds again. Although the low pressure left the Great Lakes, it still influences our weather, causing precipitation chances to increase over the day. Expect trickles of rain in the area by 5 p.m. and a culmination in widespread light rain past midnight. Despite the occasional raindrop, the majority of Halloween festivities should not be affected. Temperatures touch just below 50 for a high, so wearing a thicker costume on Halloween will benefit those outdoors. We drop to a spine-chilling 37 in the night as winds turn and slow.

Weekend: While widespread light rain follows us into Saturday morning, the rain should taper off by Saturday afternoon. Temperatures decrease by one degree to 48 for a high. Due to variable 5-mph winds from dawn until dusk, warmth sticks around a bit longer, giving a low of 38 for Saturday. Clouds will overshadow the weekend but break more and more going into Saturday night. One might anticipate partly cloudy skies when daylight saving time ends. Sunday sees a shift in weather, as movement of a northern low pressure induces a higher pressure gradient over Milwaukee. Winds drastically increase from 5 mph in the morning to sustained 18 mph by 3 p.m. Brought on by warm winds, temperatures jump to a high of 53 and a low of 42. Additionally, a drizzle of rain might be a possibility late Sunday night.
Extended: Looking forward, this low-pressure system forces temperatures up even more, hitting the tops of the 50s for a high. Also, Monday seems to be extremely gusty, so be prepared for gusts of 40 mph or higher. Clouds will be whipping along but generally cause the day to be partly cloudy. Contrary to the increase in high temperature, the low hits back in the 30s. Stay tuned for the updated holiday weather forecast!
