Today: High pressure begins to take control over our weather as we head into the weekend. We awaken to temperatures already in the 60s as developed fog from overnight clears by the morning commute. Temperatures look to stay warmer throughout Milwaukee, though a pesky northeast wind keeps temperatures cooler lakeside reaching a high of 70 degrees. Winds amp up during daytime hours around 10 mph, before simmering in the evening.
Tonight: As day calms to night, conditions across the area will follow. Skies will remain partly cloudy with temperatures falling just short of 60 degrees, leaving a peaceful Thursday night.
Tomorrow: Calm conditions carry into Friday while clouds consume the sky through the morning. As sunny, blue skies begin to make an appearance by afternoon, high temperatures are expected to reach 74 for the day. Much of the day will feature nice conditions, though an accompanying lake breeze will keep the area cooler than inland areas. As we progress into the night, cloudy skies reappear with temperatures expected to cool to the mid 60s. A brief upper air disturbance looks to enter the state Friday, bringing the potential of rain overnight into Saturday.

Extended: Currently models are trending towards precipitation occurring around 1 a.m. Saturday, with dying probabilities as we approach Saturday afternoon. Once that system passes, the rest of Saturday is expected to consist of returning mostly sunny skies. High pressure continues to work over the region catering warmer, southwest winds into Milwaukee with temperatures reaching 78 degrees for the day. Lows will sit in the mid 60s, leaving us a mild night before Sunday greets us with sunny skies. The rest of the forecasted period looks to remain calm, featuring sunny skies and 70 degree highs.
