Wisconsin Living Wage Coalition and Citizen Action, in conjunction with State Representative Ryan Clancy, hosted a Milwaukee living wage town hall about setting a $20 minimum wage on Monday, July 13, at Turner Hall.
Residents shared their thoughts and daily struggles to make ends meet at wages less than $20 per hour.
The primary speaker at the Living Wage Town Hall was Peter Rickman, who is the President of Milwaukee Area Service and Hospitality Workers Union, otherwise known as “MASH.”
UWM Post has a multimedia story on the meeting.
