The UW-Milwaukee Bookstore is long gone.
In effort renovate the old space, now called the Panther Shop, student and staff are asked to cast their vote for a new store logo. Those interested will have through Monday, Feb. 8 to visit the UWM Bookstore homepage, sign in with their student ID, and then choose from one of the three options:
The UWM Panther Shop will be in the same location as the old UWM Bookstore, and will continue to offer a selection of Panther Spirit merchandise as well as a Tech Store.
UWM has recently followed the trend of many colleges trying to save money by closing down their physical on-campus location bookstore and opening a virtual bookstore partnered with eCampus.com. The cost will be covered in part by eCampus.com, featuring the eCampus.com Store@UWM. This store will have kiosks and staff to assist students in buying and selling textbooks.
