Last month, I wrote an article about the announcement that J.K. Rowling’s novel, “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” will produce five film adaptations. UWM Students will now get a screening of the first film a night before its Nationwide release.
On Thursday, Nov. 17, UWM will take 240 students to Marcus North Shore Cinema for a free screening of “Fantastic Beasts.” The event is sponsored by the UWM Union Cinema, Campus Activities Board, and Student Housing Administrative Council.
UWM Student I.D. is required to attend. Wristbands will be distributed in the UWM Student Union starting at 5:15 p.m.
Buses will depart from the Union at 6:00 p.m. for a 7:00 p.m. show. It is recommended that students arrive early to the Union Concourse because the screening is on a first come, first-serve basis.
Staff from the Post will be present at the screening, and we hope to see you there, Panthers!
