Today is St. Patrick’s Day, and Milwaukee residents sure know how to celebrate! If you didn’t make it to last weekend’s festivities, you’re in luck. This weekend, businesses around the city are hosting events for all ages. Take a look at where you can catch some of Milwaukee’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations and tap into luck of the Irish.
Drinking Events
Milwaukee’s biggest St. Patrick’s Day Event. Enjoy free admission at nearly 10 bars, starting at the Third Street Tavern.
This pub crawl is hosted by the Explorium Brewpub. Explorium will provide a keg of beer to each pub crawl stop. Participants will stop at each location, kill the keg, and move on to the next stop. The party continues at Explorium Third Ward after all the kegs are killed.
It’s Always Sunny…. At Lost Whale
Lost Whale is morphing into everyone’s favorite Philadelphia dive, Paddy’s Pub! The bar will offer Red Sangria in Diet Coke Cans, the Signature Blue Hole, as well as Shamrock Shakes, Fight milk, and other fun “It’s Always Sunny” themed drinks and shenanigans!
St. Patrick’s Day Indoor Bike Night
Harley-Davidson’s MOTOR Bar & Restaurant is hosting a special St. Paddy’s Day event. Come enjoy live traditional Irish music, raffles as well as festive food and drink specials.
Other Events
The Urban Ecology Center is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day themed paint-a-long! Watercolor paint is provided to provide the tools in which you can tap into your inner artist. Children under 3 are free.
St. Patrick’s Day Scavenger Hunt at Up-Down
Follow the clues to get to the pot of gold! Each participant will get a clue sheet to follow. Solving all the clues will earn you a cauldron of tokens!
Enjoy corned beef hash for brunch or corned beef reuben for lunch throughout the whole weekend at Cafe Benelux.
Smiley Barn’s First Annual Gold Coin Hunt
Perfect for the little ones, head out to the famous Smiley Barn to participate in an easter-egg hunt style gold coin hunt!
Join in a celebratory 5k or 10k starting at Greenfield Park in West Allis. Participants receive a Luck of the Irish tee shirt as well as a voucher for one free beer from Lakefront Brewery.

Maya Ophelia’s St. Patrick’s Day Vegan Taco Pop-Up at X-Ray Arcade
Maya Ophelia’s is a vegan eatery and food truck. They are hosting a vegan taco pop-up featuring the specials: cheesy potato dorados, steak taco and spicy fried chikin tacos.
