Dew points and wind speeds will also be low, providing very kind skies for the national day off. As the afternoon grows nearer, expect the clouds to clear up and temperatures to peak at 74 degrees.
Tonight: The evening will provide a similar trend, cooling to a nice 64 degrees with cloudy skies. Dew points will stay low, and winds will be calm.
Tomorrow: Another beautiful day with mild winds and low dew points arrives on Tuesday. During your walk to your morning classes, the low will creep in at a cool 61 degrees. As the afternoon arrives, expect temperatures up to 73 degrees, and partly cloudy skies. The evening will be even more of the same, with partly cloudy skies and cool temperatures in the lower 60’s.
Extended: Wednesday, the chance for severe storms returns. Scattered showers will persist most of the morning, and the largest line of storms will move in during the evening. As gusty winds of 30 mph or more accompany the incoming front; the chance for hail prevails. The high will be 78 with a low of 60. Following the storm, Thursday will be warm and sunny with a high of 78 degrees and a low of 56. Friday will look similar, although slightly cooler, with a high of 71 degrees and a low of 55.
