Overview: A heat wave moves through Milwaukee during the weekend, causing temperatures to hit the 70s, with a spike in the upper 70s on Monday.

Today: Temperatures rise into the lower 70s on Friday, kicking off a warm start to the weekend. Scattered clouds cover the sky throughout the day, starting off mostly overcast and thinning out as the day goes on. Moderate winds flow through the area, starting off at 4 mph with 10 mph gusts and increasing as night falls. 

Tonight: Clouds move out of the area overnight, along with temperatures that fall into the upper 50s in areas. Winds pick up considerably, blowing out of the south at 12 mph coupled with 20 mph gusts, with areas along the lake seeing gusts around 24 mph. 

Tomorrow: A heatwave rolls through the area on Saturday, leading to high temperatures in the mid 70s. Dense clouds cover the sky throughout the day, along with moderate winds out of the south at 12 mph with 25 mph gusts. Clouds continue during Saturday night, causing temperatures to fall into the upper 50s again. Winds remain moderate, falling slightly to 10 mph with 20 mph gusts. 

Extended: Temperatures fall into the upper 60s on Sunday, with clouds during the morning that make way for sunshine in the afternoon. Winds slow down slightly, blowing out of the south at 8 mph. Monday temperatures skyrocket into the upper 70s, boosted by partly cloudy skies. Winds increase slightly, blowing out of the southwest at 12 mph. High pressure moves in on Tuesday, causing temperatures to max out in the mid 70s before dropping into the mid 50s as night falls. Rain moves in the early morning, coupled with winds out of the north at 14 mph.
