Today: The morning begins a bit brisk with temperatures of 29 degrees. However, the chill won’t last long, as light southwesterly winds push a high-pressure system above Milwaukee. Going into the afternoon, expect temperatures in the mid 30s to low 40s and clear skies!

Tonight: This dry and quiet weather will follow into the evening and provide cool temperatures of 31 degrees with calm winds. Expect skies to cloud up a bit, but a mostly clear night sky is likely to dominate.

Tomorrow: Beginning Tuesday, a broken series of low-pressure systems enters the area. The first one is expected to greet the city early Tuesday morning, bringing some precipitation. Whether the precipitation falls as mild snow or sleet depends on how long it stays near freezing. Morning temperatures will drift around the low 30s and eventually warm to 37 in the afternoon. After the precipitation, the skies will be cloudy for the remainder of the day.

Extended: More precipitation will follow with rain again affecting the area on Wednesday. This round will bring more sleet/snow and should affect mostly the afternoon. The high will be 39 degrees and the low will be 35. Thursday will be similar, although considerably warmer with a high of 51 degrees. The rain will likely start mid-morning and persist into the late afternoon. On Friday, one might expect rain all day with a high of 52 degrees and a low of 41.
