Overview: With fall here, Milwaukee sees fall-like temperatures in the mid-60s with partly cloudy skies throughout the week.
Today: Wednesday for Milwaukee is looking cloudy and cooler for most of the day, with mostly cloudy skies in the morning and temperatures reaching to 57 degrees. With that, winds will be a little gusty with winds coming off the lake at 11 mph, along with 18-mph wind gusts. By the afternoon, temperatures reach a high of 63 degrees with partly cloudy skies. As for the wind, speeds are expected to slow down to 10 mph with 13-mph gusts.
Tonight: Into the evening hours of Wednesday, temperatures drop to a low of 55 with partly cloudy skies. Wind speeds continue to slow down, with speeds sitting at 9 mph and gusts at 13 mph.
Tomorrow: Thursday brings less clouds, with the morning having clear skies and temperatures reaching into the high-50s. With that, wind speeds are expected to be at 10 mph with gusts at 17 mph coming off the lake. Into the afternoon, clouds become more common around noon with temperatures reaching high of 65 around 1 p.m. Wind speeds continue to come off the lake at 10 mph, however, a 20-mph gust is possible. Into the evening, lingering clouds remain with temperatures decreasing into the mid-50s. With the temperature drop, wind speeds are also expected to drop to 5 mph with gusts up to 7 mph.
Friday: Into Friday morning, clear skies are expected, perfect for a great sunrise picture. With that, temperatures are expected to rise into the low-60s. Wind speeds are expected to be slower compared to Thursday with speeds, coming off the lake at 8 mph with gusts up to 13 mph. Into the afternoon, temperatures rise into the mid-60s with mostly cloudy skies and wind speeds decreasing to 6 mph. By the evening, more clouds continue to roll in with temperatures dropping into the high-50s. With the dropping temperatures, wind speeds are also expected to calm down due to a high pressure system situated in Northern Canada.
Weekend Outlook: With the work week over, Saturday brings a high temperature of 63 and a low of 57 with calm winds expected throughout the entire day due to that high pressure. With that, partly cloudy are expected for most of the day until the evening with more clouds rolling in. A maximum wind gust up to 12 mph is possible throughout the day. On to Sunday, temperatures reach a high of 65 and a low of 55 with another day of calm winds. Mostly cloudy skies are also expected throughout the day, however, a slight chance for a shower is possible in the morning. Similar to Saturday, a maximum wind gust up to 11 mph is possible.
