Overview: A hot first day of school is expected Wednesday with temperatures reaching to almost 90 degrees. Thankfully, temperatures are predicted to drop later in the week. 

Today: Wednesday morning for Milwaukee sees a 25% chance for showers and temperatures reaching to 77 degrees. Wind speeds come from the north at 8 mph and wind gusts at 16 mph. As the day continues, overcast remains and temperatures launch to 89 degrees with wind speeds at 5 mph from the southwest.

Tonight: Wednesday night brings scattered clouds with temperatures dropping to 74 degrees and calm winds. 

Tomorrow: Thursday morning brings more overcast skies and temperatures reaching to 74 with calm winds. A maximum wind gust up to 8 mph is possible. Into the afternoon, overcast skies continue to linger while temperatures reach a high of 83 degrees with wind speeds at 8 mph. A possible wind gust up to 19 mph is possible. Into the evening hours, temperatures drop into the high-60s with wind speeds at 7 mph and a maximum wind gust up to 15 mph. 

Friday: Friday starts off with temperatures reaching into the low-70s with overcast skies and wind speeds at 8 mph from the southeast. As the day continues, temperatures rise to a high of 78 with overcast skies still remaining. Into the evening hours, temperatures drop into the high-60s with wind speeds at 6 mph with a maximum wind gust up to 16 mph.

Weekend Outlook: Saturday for Milwaukee brings a high of 76 and a low of 66 with morning clouds eventually clearing out, as the stationary front migrates south. Wind speeds remain constant around 6 mph throughout the day with a maximum wind gust of 18 mph. A stray morning shower is also possible. Sunday brings a high of 75 and a low of 65 with gloomy, overcast skies expected for most of the day along with a possible afternoon shower. Stay tuned for more weather updates!
