Coming off one of the best seasons in their franchise’s history, the Milwaukee Bucks are looking to make a trip to the promised land in the 2019-20 season.
The Milwaukee Bucks finished the 2018-19 season with the best record in the NBA (60-22) and reached the Eastern Conference finals. Their season came to a heartbreaking end after going up 2-0 against the Toronto Raptors, only to lose their next four games.
This finish to the season made fans eager about the upcoming season with one big question on their minds: Can the Bucks bring a trophy to Milwaukee in 2020?
Milwaukee added depth to their roster this summer after parting ways with starting guard Malcolm Brogdon. The Bucks used the money saved to bring in Wesley Matthews, Kyle Korver, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Robin Lopez, Dragan Bender and Frank Mason III.
Now, the Bucks team is filled top to bottom with players who can contribute each and every night. A reigning coach of the year. A reigning MVP with a Kobe-esque work ethic. Fifteen players deep. Their eyes all set on one common goal.
A championship.
The city of Milwaukee has not seen one of its teams reach a championship since 1982 when the Milwaukee Brewers went to the World Series.
The Bucks showed glimpses of how talented they can be this preseason where they went 5-0 and recorded its first undefeated preseason since 1997.
With the talent of a 60-win roster and losing only a few pieces while having added leadership through players like Matthews and Korver, the sky’s the limit for the Bucks.
Good read. Let’s hope they capitalize on the talent they’ve acquired at the end of last season and bring us a trophy
