The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Milwaukee Field Office relocated this month. The office at 310 East Knapp St. #154 closed on Oct. 3, 2024, according to a USCIS news release.
As a result, USCIS will not offer in-person services from Oct. 4 through Oct. 18, 2024. During this transition period, the offices will remain closed and will reopen at the new location on Oct. 21, 2024. The new USCIS office is located at 310 W. Wisconsin Ave., Suite 850 W, Milwaukee, WI 53203.
According to the news release, the new office will employ 30 staff members and process around 250 individuals each week. The office primarily handles naturalization and adjustment of status (green card) interviews, adjudications and administrative naturalization ceremonies for individuals throughout Wisconsin.
Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Application Support Center (ASC), which shared the USCIS office location, stayed open at 310 E. Knapp St. until Oct. 18, 2024. The ASC will reopen at the new location on Oct. 21 and offers biometric services such as fingerprints, photographs, and electronic signatures for individuals seeking immigration benefits.
USCIS and ASC require appointments and do not accept walk-ins. Individuals can make an appointment on their website, uscis.gov.
