Today, April 14th: A cold front will be passing through Wisconsin early Monday morning. This will result in gusty conditions throughout the day. Wind gusts around 30 mph are expected with the potential of a few gusts reaching up to 35 mph. Luckily, we aren’t expecting to see any precipitation throughout today, as skies will remain partly cloudy with temperatures in the mid-50s.
Tonight: Strong winds will continue throughout tonight as gusts will continue to reach into the 30-35 mph range. Cooler temperatures are also expected as cold air moves in behind the cold front. Expect today’s low temperature to occur tonight as this cold air drops temperatures into the mid-40s.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 15th: High winds will still be present on Tuesday, but should gradually begin to calm down. Wind gusts Tuesday morning will still be around 30 mph but will slightly slow to around 25 mph by the late afternoon. We’ll have clouds in the morning, but they’ll move out throughout the day for clear skies in the afternoon. Temperatures will be slightly cooler with a high of 48 degrees and a low of 33.
Extended Forecast, April 16th – 18th: Clear skies and mild temperatures will persist throughout Wednesday with a high of 48 and a low of 37. On Thursday and Friday, the weather could be more active. On Thursday the potential for rain returns as a warm front will be moving through in the late afternoon. Expected warmer conditions to arrive with a high temperature of 54 and a low of 38. On Friday we’ll see a much higher potential for precipitation as a region of low pressure passes through the Midwest. The exact placement of this low is still uncertain at this time. If it passes through Illinois we’ll likely just see rain, but if the low tracks further north we’ll have the potential for some thunderstorms. Stay tuned for updates as the track of this system becomes more defined. Warmer temperatures continue with a high of 65 and a low of 47.
