
Milwaukee Tailgate week was an exclusive three-day event presented by Potawatomi Sportsbook to celebrate Milwaukee’s football culture, highlight legendary brews and the overall atmosphere. VIP experiences and brewery tours were also available throughout the three day event as well as a draft party.
On Thursday, Milwaukee Tailgate Central celebrated the opening day of the 2025 NFL Draft at Potawatomi Sportsbook. Food and beverages were provided, packages and bundles were available all week for Potawatomi’s football themed hotel.
Tailgate Talk Live Luncheon took place on Friday, a lively discussion with football greats such as Super Bowl champion Travis Beckum and NFL insider Hub Arkush. A buffet style lunch was provided followed by a chance to chat with speakers afterwards.
Inside the Huddle live was held on Saturday at the Panther Arena to wrap up Tailgate week. The event was hosted by Packers legend Jordy Nelson and also had other Packers player appearances such as Mason Crosby and Nick Collins.
Fans were able to participate in an audience Q&A, live auctions and football themed tailgate zone. The Tailgate zone provided games for kids as well as entertainment from Milwaukee favorites such as the Brewers, the Admirals and the Wave.

What to expect
Fans were able to put their skills to the test during a mini combine provided by Journey house to see if they have what it takes to make it to the NFL. The Wisconsin Adaptive Sports Association provided accessible wheelchairs and football gear for fans to test out.
Team Mascots from all over the Milwaukee area joined in on the fun and made an appearance. The Milwaukee Brewers’ Bernie Brewer, The Milwaukee Admirals’ Roscoe and Milwaukee Milkmen’s Bo Vine welcomed fans with open arms to take pictures and participate in mini games along with the fans. Tailgate week also included many giveaways, merch handouts as well as food and beverages provided.

Wrapping up tailgate week, fans were able to sit down and hear Jordy Nelson talk about his experiences in Green Bay, his thoughts on Matthew Golden being drafted, and overall thoughts on the Draft and how well the community did on putting on a great show with fans always showing up and showing out.
Mason Crosby joined in on the fan fun questions and discussed what retirement life has been like, his opinions on how the Packers season will look like, providing the proper tools to help develop the new players.
“Work hard and surround yourself with people who are going to push you.” said Jordy Nelson. “Have fun as long as you can, once you get into the NFL. It’s still fun but it’s a job.”
Nelson spoke with younger children and answered their questions on what it’s really like being in the NFL and what it takes to be put into that position.
Milwaukee tailgate week provided positive spirits and enthusiasm for all things game day. From a lively gathering at Potawatomi Sportsbook to an unforgettable inside the hurdle event with Packers legends. The Cream City truly embraced the pre-draft excitement.
