Monday, May 5th: Happy last week of classes, Panthers! Your Monday starts off a little rainy as a system moves off to the west. Rain showers linger for the early part of the day, but the rain should quit by mid-morning. Clouds will stick around for the rest of the day, but there will be an equal mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures will warm into the low 50s by the afternoon, but limited sunshine and a gentle breeze of 10 mph out of the northeast for much of the day will likely make it feel cooler than that.

Tonight: Clouds will continue to move out overnight, which will cause temperatures to fall into the low 40s. Some areas might experience some patchy fog that develops in the latter hours of Monday night into Tuesday morning. Winds will remain calm throughout the night.

Tuesday, May 6th: Tuesday looks to be a beautiful day in the Milwaukee area. An area of high pressure moves in and takes the clouds with it, giving us ample sunshine. Temperatures will warm into the low 60s near the lakeshore, but could dip back into the mid-50s once a lake breeze develops. Away from the lake, temperatures will warm into the low 70s. Winds will remain light throughout the day, but could get a little stronger as that lake breeze moves in. Tuesday night will be mostly clear, allowing temperatures to fall into the mid-to-upper 40s.

Temperatures will be a little cooler, reaching into the mid-50s, and there is a slight chance of a stray shower as a cold front comes through in the afternoon. High pressure returns for Thursday, bringing plenty of sunshine. Temperatures will warm into the mid-50s once again. Friday will essentially be a copy and paste of Thursday, but this time a little warmer. Temperatures will warm into the low 60s, but will likely be a little cooler by the lake.
