
Today: Due to a cold front moving through the night prior, Thursday will be cool and breezy. Highs look to be in the low 70s coupled with winds off the lake at 10 mph and gusts of 20 mph. There’s a slight chance for rain very early in the morning, but precipitation chances drop off considerably after 10 a.m. as skies become partly cloudy for the remainder of the day.
Tonight: A high pressure system moves in overnight and settles in over northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula, ushering in clearer skies and cooler temps in the low 50s. Winds will continue to be light off the lake, slowing down to just over 5 mph with 10 mph gusts.

Tomorrow: Winds shift to out of the southeast on Friday, bringing slightly warmer temperatures in the mid 70s along with light winds reaching 5 mph and gusts topping out at 10 mph. Clear skies are in store for most of the day and into the night, before turning to overcast with a chance for thunderstorms ahead of Saturday.
Saturday, July 19th – Monday, July 21st: A warm front is expected to move in on Saturday, leading to a large chance for thunderstorms coupled with warmer temps in the high 70s throughout the day. Skies will be predominantly overcast coupled with winds out of the south at 5 mph. Sunday sees a few lingering showers from the day prior, as well as partly cloudy skies and a high in the mid 70s. Monday’s temperatures warm up into the mid 70s with partly cloudy skies and a slight chance for showers in the afternoon and overnight.
