Today, August 5: Your Tuesday looks beautiful as the lingering smoke finally clears out as the day progresses. The current Air Quality Alert is set to expire at noon today, but there is a small chance that it will be extended by a couple of hours. Other than that, your Tuesday looks to be beautiful! Temperatures will warm into the mid-to-upper 70s as high pressure dominates the region. Dew points will hover in the low 60s, staying just below that “uncomfortable” threshold. Winds will remain light out of the east, possibly aiding in an afternoon lake breeze. No precipitation is expected throughout the day, thanks to the high pressure.
Tonight: Clear conditions will stick around as temperatures fall into the upper 60s. Winds will be very light, which could result in some patchy fog in low-lying areas. Any fog that does form will dissipate once the sun rises in the morning.

Tomorrow, August 6: Wednesday looks very similar to yesterday. Clear skies and ample sunshine help temperatures to warm up into the low 80s. Light winds and no precipitation throughout the day will ensure it stays beautiful the entire day. Clear skies will allow temperatures to fall into the low 70s. Fog doesn’t look as likely as it did last night, but there’s still a chance for some patchy fog in some areas.
Extended Forecast, Thursday, August 7 – Saturday, August 9: Outstanding weather continues for your Thursday as the high pressure system that has dominated the last few days continues to dominate. Temperatures will warm into the mid-80s, and dew points will creep up into the mid-60s. Friday looks a little warmer, as temperatures will warm into the upper-80s. Dew points will continue to stay in the mid-to-upper 60s. Skies will remain clear throughout the day. Saturday will be a lot of the same, with temperatures warming into the upper 80s. A chance for some rain returns Saturday night as a low pressure system moves its way in.
