More widespread clouds will start moving in as a weak low pressure system moves its way towards the area. There’s a chance for some rain showers as these clouds move in, but chances look better overnight and into tomorrow morning.
Tonight: Cloudy skies with occasional rain showers. A stray thunderstorm is possible. Temperatures will fall into the upper 50s.
Tomorrow, August 28: Your Thursday looks to be a little rainy and windy as low pressure moves through. Rain and some thunder look to linger through the late morning, with rain chances falling as the afternoon progresses. Temperatures will warm into the upper 60s. Winds will be gusty from the northeast, blowing 15 to 20 mph with possible gusts up to 25 mph. As the evening rolls on, clouds will move out and give way to clear skies. Temperatures will fall into the low-to-mid-50s.
Extended Forecast, Friday, August 29 – Sunday, August 31: Friday returns to the pleasant pattern we’ve settled into. Temperatures will warm into the mid-60s under clear skies and light winds. Patchy fog could develop Friday night. Saturday is a similar story, with temperatures warming into the low 70s with more sunshine throughout the day. Sunday will continue the trend, with temperatures warming into the mid-70s and ample amounts of sunshine.
